Back in 2022, Jennifer Lopez stepped into the role of National Ambassador for Grameen America to champion financial equity. The nonprofit is dedicated to helping low-income women secure microloans and grow small businesses.
Through these collective efforts, the organization has distributed $8 billion in loans, aiding more than 291,602 small-business owners. Looking ahead, Grameen America plans to scale its initiative to support 750,000 entrepreneurs over the course of the coming decade.
